Pool Pad Size

I am looking for a pool pad, but I can't find the size that I need. My pool size is 22'.
So maybe I have two questions, do you know where I can get a 22' pool pad or can the pad be larger than the pool?

Welcome to TFP! To my knowledge, pool pads are generally custom made by the owner using a variety of products like Gorilla Pads, insulation panels, etc. They come in standard sizes, so you place them together, tape at the seams, and trim the excess. At least that seems to be the most common method I've seen.

I have an 18' x 9' x 52" rectangle Intex Ultra XLR pool and I'm trying to find a pool pad to go under it, but with no success. Do they even make that size? Is it ok to purchase a bigger one and what happens if I don't cut it down to fit?

I have a 14x48 round pool, and there are no 14 ft pads. So I got a 15 ft pad and trimmed it down. Don't over think or stress about it. Just get the next size bigger or get two and cobble together your own.
