Been researching and learning on TFP for years, awesome site. New computer and reestablishing links, when better to join than now. 76 today and thinking about the swim...or the soak
hehehh, it'll actually be a tad before the pool is open. and yes, earlier now with the heater installed mid-last year (it's my folks' pool and they are psyched) Thanks for the reply! Great site kellyfair
Depends on your needs- hot tub has its pros like always being covered & ready for use especially if it’s just you or your significant other & you don’t want all the maintenance of a large open body of water. Either one can have easier daily dosing maintenance by using a swg.
If you have a short swim season a hot tub may serve u for much longer.
If you have a family & want to have pool parties in the summer a pool is the answer. I personally like having both - we have about 6 months of swimming weather here & I use my hot tub daily year round lots of times twice a day in the winter. It also allows me to extend my swimming when the weather cools down a bit - get cold in the pool, jump in the hot tub!
A spa can be dumped & refilled easily if u have a mishap - not so much with a pool.
Really depends on your situation & what u think you would get the most value from.
