Pool opening, hayward pump/filter. Can anyone tell me where these screws go?

All,

I'm opening my pool for the first time on my own, having been closed last fall by a company that is now defunct. In the basket attached to the (Hayward) pump were these two screws, Along with a 'cap' that goes on the (Hayward) filter. I knew what to do with the cap, but I don't know where these belong. They were clearly removed in the fall and left in the basket intentionally.

Drain plugs to the pump. You should see two holes with threads.
