Thanks! As far as CH, do I need to worry about this? Liner manufacturer suggests 200-400 ppm CH. If so, is it OK to use ice melt pellets or crystals of calcium chloride sold at hardware stores?
CH is not a great concern with a liner pool. Your low CH fill water means you can pretty much ignore it. No reason to add calcium. Though you might be able to use cal hypo to chlorinate if you get any amount of water turnovers due to rain.
Dont worry about CH it isnt high that's the only worry. Main concern is to have CYA and FC in range and get your ph dialed in. Pucks are ok when you are away or certain times but not a permanent way of chlorinating your pool. Liquid is the way to go
