After searching and unable to find an understanding I decided to post this question. The app is suggesting I get my pH to 8.2 but recommended safe range is 7.2-8.0. Can somebody explain?

At some point did you change the target? It tends to hold onto the last target you entered.
That said you should change it to what you want or simply ignore it.

Actually there might be a bug in the app. I set my target, close the app, reopen, and it’s right back at 8.2.
