We finally thought we were ready to set the replacement liner today after doing some repair work to the bottom. We got to the part where we put the gaskets on the light niches, and found that the pool kit guy sent us the wrong size gaskets (or what appears to be incorrect). I will post some pictures to show. From some research I found that they're calling this gasket universal. However if you notice, It fits inside the light but does not align with the holes as the original one did even covering the little rounded bumps where the screws go. Is this correct that we can use this gasket and it will not leak, being it does not reach the inside over the screws? Being the weekend our pool kit guy is not getting back to us, so we are at a standstill. The original gasket seemed to fit just perfectly whereas this one actually overlaps the white piece on the pool and goes outside of the inner screw holes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
