Pool liner installation

You should be able to do it with the assistance of a couple of friends and basic skills.

Check out Youtube for some videos to see if you're up to it.

Measure twice at least...... be careful with any cuts.

I did my 15x30 with a couple friends and a shop vac. Use a shop vac. It was my 2nd liner install and I can't tell you how much easier it was by using the shop vac! If you have some basic mechanical ability you can do it! If you need to call a plumber because the faucet is leaking, maybe you should hire it out. No offense to the later people!

I can do a faucet....just not sure about a bigger project. I dont have too many handy buddys....they are the ones that have to hire a plumber.

What is the shock vac for?
All your friends need to do is hold the liner in place while you straighten it out and get centered and in place.
It's a Shop Vacuum. A moderately large wet-dry vac. You get the liner in place, all centered and lined up (as best you can) then stick the suction hose in between the liner and the pool wall. I used skimmer opening. I cut out a circle the size of the hose in a piece of cardboard, stuck the hose through it about 18 inches, just enough so it didn't suck up the liner. Then I duct taped the cardboard over the skimmer opening and turned it on. That sucks the air from between the liner and the wall. It lets you get the wrinkles out and adjust it before you start filling with water. Once you have it like you want it, start filling with water. When you have 3-4 inches of water up the side of the wall, you can get rid of the vacuum. I have a beaded liner, so once it was lined up and the bead was in the track, it was just a matter of jumping in (with stocking feet) and kicking the liner to the edge while the vacuum sucked the air out.
Here's a couple youtube videos (as long as it's allowed to post the links) The second one is the best in my opinion.
