So I have 4 Pentair pool lights that don’t work. I’ve tested the circuit and determined it’s the lights themselves. The are Pentair series 77 lights but I don’t really see a part number for the whole fixture. There are numbers for replacement parts (bulb, gasket and retaining screw). I looked online for new fixtures but was a little confused about exactly which one I needed. So which way should I go. Buy 4 sets of replacement parts and rebuild the lights or buy 4 new lights ( which ones?). Any help would be appreciated.

Is the problem with the bulb or the fixture?

If you rebuild what parts do you replace and what parts do you reuse?

The condition of the cord often determines if the fixture should be replaced. Any sign of deterioration of the cord indicates replacement.

Thanks AJ. At $300 a piece new, I decided to try new bulbs and seals first. There doesn’t seem to be a led replacement so it looks like I have to stick with what I’ve got.
