How do I go about changing the pool lightbulb, assuming that's the issue, if I don't know where the switch is to even turn the light on. Is this something a new pool owner can do?
It is typically fairly easy to change the bulb. One screw and the light fixture should come out of the niche and be able to be lifted up onto the pool deck. then open it up, dry it out, put a new bulb, seal it back up, wrap the cord back around the back end, and put it back in the niche

That process sounds simple.
Legit have no clue where the switch is. There IS a switch that controls the back door light as well as the floodlights. Wonder if that is tied in. I guess my main concern is getting shocked while changing the bulb..you know..electricity and water and all.
No automation on the light.
As for voltage, I believe 125
Hopefully there is at least a junction box somewhere that your could open and test for voltage being present , the common ones look like this mounted on conduits from the lights and from the power source.
