Pool light not working.

My pool went off and I thought it was the GFCI on the side of the Aqualink control box. I replaced the Gfci and still did not work. I replaced the breaker at the in the breaker box. It powered back up. Everything except the pool light works. It has to be my wiring of the GFCI. As you can see in the pic below, I have the incoming power and the red & black to the line side and the transformer to the load side. Something is not right. Any help would be gratly appreciated.

Thank you

Welcome to TFP.

Does the GFCI test and reset properly?

It is difficult to comment on the GFCI wiring when the picture has wires that don’t show ether they connect to. And not clear pictures of the GFCI wiring.

Do you have a multimeter and know how to test voltages?

Thank you for reponding. The gfci is working, I do have a multimeter. the red and black wire on the line input, red is going to a relay and black to the 20 amp breaker. The white neutral wires on line input, one is coming from the main breaker and the other to 30amp breaker in box. The black and white on the load input are from the tpower supply transformer in box.

What pool light do you have? If an incandescent, the bulb has likely burned out.

What you describe does not make sense for a light powered through a GFCI receptacle.

LINE power to the GFCI comes from a 120V CB hot wire and white wire back got the neutral bar.

Pool light connects to the LOAD side of the GFCI receptacle. Hot wire goes from the GFCI to the relay LINE side. Pool light transformer connects to the relay LOAD side and to the GFCI LOAD neutral connection.

You should not have two CBs in play. The light transformer is powered by the same CB as the receptacle.

Thank you for you help. I will have to take a more detailed picture of the Gfci and where wires are connected. I do know that these were the wires that were connected when I replaced Gfci. I usually take a picture before I take anything apart, but it was so cold and I wanted to get the pump running so I would not have a problem with freezing. I will post new pics tomorrow. Hopefully you will be able to tell me if one or more wires are ot of place. The other possibility, it could be the light. It is led not incandescent. Is there a way to test? Thanks again for your help.

Follow up.
I was able to get the light working. I found some information notes on the install and the wiring was correct. I went ahead and re-checked all the wires and I beleive one of the wires to the relay was not making good contact. I am not 100% sure but it is working. Again, thank you, to all who took the time to help. It was very much appreciated

When you have the pool light on, and then test/trip the GFCI, does the pool light go off? That's really the most important thing to confirm about the wiring.

I'm as bad as anyone when it comes to regularly testing all the GFCI outlets in my home. But if you are able to muster any effort into it at all, regularly testing that pool GFCI is really important.
