pool light had water in it and may be broken now

Well I put the light back in with my new LED bulb, so far no sign of a leak, but last time I didn't really notice it for over a year until it blew my breaker.

Fingers crossed, the LED in the pool combined with my overhead, switched on random modes, made quite a display

I had the lights synched to symphonic metal, playing on my phone though a bluetooth speaker, which was probably pretty close to the same effect. :punkrock: The patio lights are connected through blue-tooth app on my phone, I tried to video the scene, but when I engaged my video camera the lights stopped, weird because I could engage the regular camera fine... Anyway I'm replacing the blue-tooth with wifi eventually so I'll be able to capture it then.

Also to note I thought the pool looked a little cloudy and wasn't sure if it was the light, my FC had dropped to 2 and it was covered earlier, so I cranked it back to 6 today and the pool is back to TFP clear, I'm not sure if that will look better or worse in pics, it seems kinda creepy with the cloudy pool.

I love the lights! what kind of bulbs are the patio lights? I am looking for new ones.

The ones I have out there now are FLUX LED bluetooth. The app is great but bluetooth is a bit limited to line of sight (and I haven't figured out if I can control them with my google home yet). I intend to replace them with FLUX LED wifi. I have several of these in the house and on my front patio, unlike bluetooth you don't need to be near them or even home, and my google home controls them great. Now I snagged the wifi's when the price dropped to $25, and I'm sure this stuff has to start falling, LED's have been artificially high priced for some time but all technology as it gets more popular drops in price. There are tons of different bulbs out there, I have some phillips as well but the flux are my favorites so far (when on sale)

The new pool light is just one of the cheapest (and brightest) LED's I could find on amazon in winter (supposed to be able to replace 500 watt bulb for up to 20K pool) as you can see it's almost overpowered by the pics. I made a mistake as I have to control it by light switch instead of remote (apparently the remote on this version can't penetrate the water.) Still a nice LED for $80 (when I bought it) and it has about 12 modes from blinking to steady colors. With pool LED's you have to make sure they fit in your fixture and will be bright enough...

Thanx, I had some Tp Link ones but they never would stay connected to my wifi and one burned out after a couple of months. The directions say they may not work as well in metal lights so that may have been the problem so i want to try another brand.
