Pool Heater suggestions

I may be in the market for a new pool heater. 250,000 BTU, natural gas. Any suggestions as to brand or personal experiences welcome. Online reviews sometime look like paid ads so it is hard to get a feel for quality. Raypak seems to stand out though. It is made by Rheem so i suppose it has good genes. Hayward is another front runner. Thanks in advance.

+1 for a raypak. You might need to check local codes to see if you need the low nox version.

Raypacs are popular here, and with good reason. That said I'm happy after 4 years with my Hayward H400fdn. Parts are readily available and it's easy to work on. (I had to replace a heat exchanger and igniter because I'm a dope and didn't winterize it properly a couple of years back)
