NG 266K Raypak pool heater. It would not fire at the beginning of the season so I began to diagnose. So far I have replaced the pilot assembly and gas valve. Here is what I have to do in order for it to fire.
PV, PVMV, MV all have to be connected to begin. Once the pilot lights, the LCD says heating (but the burners do not fire up). I disconnect PVMV and it fires right up! If I try with PVMV disconnected at the start it just continues to try and spark.
