Hi there. We had a flood last night and this is now the state of my pool. Thankfully the pump is still running. I’ve slammed it and have the filter on high. Changing the cartridge every few hours.

Can I test FC using my kit with water this color or should I just guestimate? Is it as simple as keep slamming, changing the filter and using the robot until it clears up and passes the OCLT?

I should point out - it has a cage so no debris - just dirt it seems.

You might be surprised how clear the water is when you put it in your test vial.
You are right! I overshot with my guesstimate earlier. 35. Should I let it come down or keep it at slam level once it gets there? Doesn’t seem to be any CC…
