Is there anything important to do in order to get better flow dynamics when completely redoing a equipment pad other than use sweep Elbows and 2 inch rigid plumbing?
Sweep elbows are feel good parts when it comes to pools. Such a short run won't ever matter like it would for non pressure drain lines or the miles and miles of neighborhood water.
They certainly won't hurt if it's what's available, but I wouldn't spend much extra on them.
Just make sure the fittings don't say DWV on them. (Drain/Waste/vent). The collar is shorter and not rated for pressure with less holding it together.
Good notes above. The only other thing I would encourage is give yourself as large of a pad as you can. It should help with less turns and more efficient runs. Once you set each component in its respective place, the pad shrinks fast. Plan for potential upgrades and improvements later as well.
