Hi All - Enjoying this great resource. Searched around a bit in the forums, but still stumped. Here's my problem:
My pool isn't maintaining chlorine more than a day or 2. I'm able to raise chlorine to about 6PPM, but doesn't stick around. I've included my latest test results, and some commentary below.
I'm currently running the pump about 7 hours a day, so thinking I might need to bump that up to 12-16 hours?
I'm also considering a SLAM after reading about it here. Good idea?
I'm in Texas, and it's pretty warm - avg daytime temps in mid-90s. nighttime temps in 80s.
This pool is new to us - just bought the house. I've owned saltwater pools for over 10 years, and haven't had this issue with those.
Thanks so much in advance.
