Pool deck overlays and maintenance

I have an integral colored and stamped concrete pool deck that is just too dark. A few questions I had:

- Is it possible to do an overlay with something like Sundek over stamped concrete?
- What is the maintenance like on an overlay? Do they need to be recoated regularly?
