I am in the midst of a new pool install in Las Vegas, NV. This time of the year the temps run 105-112 on average and the ground can be very hot and you can barely walk on the ground with no shoes on. That being said, I wanted a coping/paver material that would be cool enough to walk on in the dead of day sun. After a bunch of research I ended up with Marbella Shellstone. Now this does cost extra, but it looks amazing and is the coolest material of all the ones I tested. When the photos were taken it was 2:20pm and the ambient temp was 107 degrees.
