Hi everyone!
We just remodeled our pool (took 21 weeks đŸ˜©). It’s been about 6 days and my pool is still this ugly green. We changed up our color last minute - the day they plastered the pool bc the sub contractor said he can do glass and abelone shell when my husband was chatting with him (my PB never offered glass or abelone shell as an option!). So I had 30 seconds to make a decision and I am now praying I didn’t choose a green color! We basically went with White base and Touch of Glass 3 with abelone shell. Will this eventually turn to light blue? I wanted a very light colored pool and praying that will happen eventually? I can’t find my color anywhere bc I’m not sure of this is Aqua cool or just white plaster? Here are some photos of what the subcontractor used along with my green pool and close up of my pebble and glass!

Welcome to TFP :)

You will get some color from the plaster and some of it comes from the surrounding colors. It looks like the tile you picked has some light green colors in it.. It may be getting some of the color from them..

I am hoping it will turn blue here in the next week or so.. White plasters usually have a blue water...

What test kit are you using to test the water?
what are you using for chlorine?
What are your numbers from the test kit...

Thanks for your reply! I actually was able to get a sample of the pool color and it’s officially called NPT Stonescapes White Micro. Looks like it will be very light blue!

Our PB will be back tomorrow to test water and begin adding chemicals. Apparently they haven’t done anything yet to it except the muriatic acid. We haven’t tested the water yet since they are handling the first 30 days post completion.

Now I just need to find more pictures of this white micro color - NPT has one photo and that’s all I can find! I appreciate your assistance!

Is there any iron in your water? Your water color perfectly matches my water color with some iron still in it (day 2 of iron removal).

I am but a noob so if my question is stupid, ignore me :)

This is my pool color on Day 3 of iron removal.

My liner is blue so your results may vary. My understanding is based on the amount of iron it can be anywhere from light yellow to brown. I could imagine a little greenish tinge when reflecting glass/sky.
