Pool clear when opened, OCLT is good. I'm all set to start with "normal" balancing, right?

So I opened my pool to nice and clear water. FC was around 8. OCLT is successful.

Am I right to assume I can just start balancing like normal now? Still too cold for SWCG.

Today:

FC4.05.0
CC0.00.0

I'll also be adding borates this year. Any particular order to do things in?

I think both my TA and CH can be left as-is for now, and adjust depending on pH results through the season?

So I guess just get the CYA in a sock, and start measuring out the borates for now?

I personally wouldn't add borates until after the SWG is up and running. Some folks find that a SWG raises their pH, although I don't really. But yours might and once you put borates in it makes adjustments of the pH a lot harder to do.

There's no rush.
