I noticed it hasn’t been cleaning as well so decided to buy new threads.
Hard to see in the pictures but they were pretty worn.
I have a pebble tech type finish so not the smoothest.
Mine stays in the pool 9
Months a year and runs every night.

I should sell you mine. My robot days are done but I have lots of “parts” …

New treads will help but also check the rubber brush seals around the suction opening. Those can get pretty worn as well. Don’t change the front or rear brushes unless they are noticeable worn out. They are expensive.

Check you wheels and wheel bushings as well. Once those start to lose their round shape, your treads will skip.

What are you going o use for cleaning if your done with the robot.
I checked and mine look good, the only thing I want to replace next is the flapper valve in the basket. Had trouble with bigger leaf's and read to try and bend the metal rods some. I think it made it worse and hasn't worked as good since :(

Oh, I went to using a suction cleaner. It’s good enough for my needs. If the battery driven robots ever get beyond their beta phase and become reliable, I might be tempted to go there but not until all the bugs are worked out.

Yeah, the cloth flapper valve definitely causes issues with large leaves and twigs. I also noticed that the fabric material thins out over time. Mine is the original material (black nylon I believe) and it feels really, really thin after 5 years. You should probably replace it when you can. It will probably help a bit if the material is new and smoother.
