The heavy equipment arrives:

The slab is poured, bottom drains positioned, re-bars and first course of concrete blocks:

Pool side walls take shape:

Stucco coating inside and outside of pool walls:

Steel re-bar support cages installed for electrical conduit and top flange:

Roman stairs and underwater lights:

It's really interesting to see how things are done in other countries. Thanks for sharing.

I see you are getting a 2HP pump. Is that a two speed type? Is power expensive in Cancun?

Nice build! I like the shape of the pool and the stairs.
Do you have pics from when they mounted the mossaik tile and it's preparatory work. Would be nice to see.
