Have a big fiberglass pool sitting in the yard.
Way to wet to dig, so the install is delayed.
But............... a stress crack was found at the bottom of an inside corner at the 5.5' depth area.
The overnight deluge of rain I guess was a blessing as the installer saw water dripping from the bottom side of the corner
There is not visible damage to the outside.
The crack is spider like in shape, about 4"-6" in size.
We were told that is can be repaired onsite and would not be detectable.
After much discussion with the wife, installer, and company rep, we opted to let them repair. If the repair is not satisfactory, they would replace the pool.
A replacement unit could be months away.
