Hello, can someone give me some insight on the pipe coming out of the ground with nothing attached? It's spa/pool combination

Its the venturi system air vent for your spa. Blocking it off would stop the bubbles.

Any idea what would cause the water to come out as the pile is higher then the spa

I'm not sure, but I'm sure someone will help sort through it. Can you describe to us when it's occurring? Pump on, pump off, Spa mode, pool mode, etc. Do you have normal, full flow through all returns in the spa?
