Earlier in the week I found a dead rabbit in the pool. I know we had 2 baby rabbits around the yard and we've seen their momma as well. It had not been in the water for long. Chlorine levels had been dropping a bit (like 7ish to 4ish) but I attributed that to the sun and very high temps. I don't think there is a sanitation issue. I bumped SWCG output anyway. This morning I found the other bunny in the skimmer. Same deal I think it had only been in a short time. Chlorine is around 10 right now so I think I am ok for sanitation. But I'll keep it up through the weekend to be sure.

Funny I haven't found any mice which I usually do or frogs. Last year probably had 4 frogs.

We bought a Frog Log off amazon after we found a dead bunny in our pool. We haven’t found any since using the Frog Log. No frogs or any other animals either.

A bat! Wow! I wonder how that happened! We do have one of those floating cushions that provide a way out of the pool, but I guess the frogs either did not find it or the chlorine level (I was in the middle of a SLAM) was too high for them to last long Enough to get out. I feel bad about that.

I quit running my pump at night after finding a dozen frogs in the skimmers. Haven’t found much that I can recall since changing the run times to daylight hours. I also started using low speed on my pump which might give some things a chance to escape the slimmer.

Funny incident, I was removing the frogs from the skimmer basket with the pump on high. Lifted the basket out and one made a break for it....right down the now open slimmer he had a quick ride to the pump basket and seemed relieved when I ran around and opened the pump basket for him.
