Polymeric sand was in water now water still cloudy

Good morning,
We did the slam process as we do every year. We had our pavers re-sanded this year and there was a lot of sand in the pool.
We have been running the robotic vacuum and it seems to have cleaned it all up but the water is not clear.
Chlorine levels are good but water is hazy. Not sure what else we can do to get it clear. Never had this problem other years.
We have a sand filter and the pressure is good. We have a salt water pool but have not turned the salt cell on as we wait until the slam process is complete but our water will not clear. Any ideas?

Have you added some pool grade DE to your sand filter to help the filtering?

Sand filters are the slowest to clear. Be patient.

Add DE to a Sand Filter

A clean pool filter will increase the efficiency of your pool! ... your filter are to backwash it, clean the manifolds and grids, and add new DE.

Have you run the Overnight Chlorine Loss Test yet? If you are passing that and have little to no CC registering then it's just a matter of clearing out the cloudiness. Don't risk slipping back by letting up on the SLAM, but the extra fine filtering of the DE should help speed the final stage along.
