Can pollen cause filter pressure to rise ? I have a sand filter and live in Georgia. Today’s pollen count is 14,000. Humidity has been extremely low for about a few weeks now but for the past few days it has been in the 20%-30%. I have been slamming my pool for a week now and the filter pressure today still rises in about a day from 16- 22 psi before I backwash. I’ve been vacuuming every day and brushing several days last weekend and today.
In the past, it only took me 2-3 days to slam in March (but we never had pollen season this bad) and pressure stabilizes by end of slam. I have not passed oclt yet but I think I will tomorrow morning I am just concerned the filter pressure is still rising. Water is clear.
at sunset tonight:

This morning at sunrise I still lost 1.5 FC but CC was 0.
