Pollen is heavy this year (nothing new). I've read that most people use skimmer basket socks, but my DIY pool skimmer basket has nothing available. We converted our koi pond into a swimming pool and reused the Savio Standard Skimmer from the koi pond. I can sew a custom skimmer sock, but I'm not sure what material I should use that would be effective against pollen. I've been brushing, vacuuming, and cleaning the filter, but I think a skimmer sock would be a big help. Any suggestions?
