Pollen on pebble tech floor wont come off!

First (full) season with a pool and I'm running into issues with pollen!

To be precise, the pollen is stuck to my pebble finish and wont dislodge. I have a dolphin robot running 2x a day and while it appears to be doing something, it’s not clean. If i manually brush, i can see clouds of yellow pollen get loose, but the floor is still dirty where i brush. It would be impossible to brush the whole pool with the amount of scrubbing that would take!

Any ideas?!

You sure that is pollen and not dead algae?

See if your pool passes a Overnight Chlorine Loss Test

I think so, yes. We’ve been inundated with pine pollen; it’s everywhere and was all over the surface of the pool. When I disturb the floor there’s a definite yellow cloud.

Lost 2ppm overnight so I will follow the SLAM process.

You setup with a good test kit?

Looks like metal stains.

It looks like copper and iron.

Can you pull your filter cartridges and show them?

Can you show the system?

Can you show the plaster when it was new?

Drop some vitamin C on a spot.

Pollen does not do that.

It is not going to get that stuck to your plaster.
