Hello,
Last May I got an error 10 on my polaris VRX IQ+. The cable that goes from the base to the cleaner in the pool had two very tiny holes in it in what looked like maybe a squirrel or mouse had bitten it just once. That bite cost me $360 at Leslie Pools to fix. As a preventative measure, I put pool noodles around the cord to deter it from happening again.
Yesterday, I got another error 10. I took the entire thing to my garage and about an hour examining the cord under my lighted magnifying glass and no damage. I've unplugged it, plugged it back in. Still got error 10. I found a video guide on YouTube on how to check the wiring inside the cord but it was for the p965iq and taking it apart on the vrx iq+ is different and I can't figure it out.
Any tips, suggestions, or guides on how to fix this without having to spend another $360 on a designed to be tasty to critters or designed to fail cord would be appreciated.
