Was just using the unit probably last week. Went to turn it on again to get it out of the pool to empty the basket and the control unit does not function at all. I thought maybe it is the outlet, but the grill plugged into the same outlet is working fine. Anyone know if this common and if there is a fuse or something?

Took the control unit off, unscrewed it, took out the fuse expecting it to be bad and it tested just fine, put it back in and the control unit powered back up. We had a lightning storm here recently that messed up my projector so thinking maybe the same thing happened. The projector was all messed up until I unplugged and replugged it. Not sure why this one wouldn't work after that, I'm guessing maybe reseating the fuse did it. I did reseat the other power connections at the board while I was in there as well.

Hi!!!! Where is the fuse? I have a similiar issue! Thanks in advance!

I just had this same issue with my Polaris 9560 Sport that’s only a year old, and after reading this post I opened my control panel and took out the fuse and put it right back in and now the unit is working. It did seem to have like a short in it and I had to keep pressing the start button but I finally got it to stay on and start vacuuming.
Oh and we also had a huge thunderstorm yesterday.
I attached the photo of the inside of the control panel and circled the fuse over on the left side.
