Correct. So, when the warranty runs out, you're SOL! Interestingly, the 280 frame is freely available online but the 380 frame is not.

This is the revenue model they all seem to be drifting towards - no more DIY garage fixes, either go to a shop or buy a new one. And the shops really don’t want to be bothered with fixing stuff because you gotta pay a guy to sit there all day twiddling his screwdriver until work shows up. So it’s basically - “buy it new, run it for a few years until it breaks, then buy another new one …”.

Thanks. I don't have the original purchase receipt so they won't replaced it under warranty (it was out of warranty anyway). I asked them if they would goodwill it, they said no. I offered to pay for it and they wouldn't do that either. Finally figured out a way to do it..............................
The plastic around the brass screw inserts cracked. Tried gluing it, to no avail.
Done deal now, in any event.
