Polaris cord keeps getting twisted

Hello - I'm a brand new pool owner and I joined the site. My Polaris pool cleaner is active every day, and each day I find the cord gets twisted (and sometimes forms a knot) from sweeping the bottom of my pool, even though I manually straighten it out most days. Does anybody have advice on how to avoid this? Or, is a twisted Polaris cord unavoidable on a daily basis?

Thanks!

Google AI result for a Model 360. Also when you have a moment populate your signature with all you current equipment saves Q&A time.

Most of the time a tangled hose is a result of problems with the wheels or a hose that is to long. Usually the cause on the 360 is a broken drive belt. To test it, turn the single wheel. As you turn the single wheel, the other two wheels should turn with it. If they do not, then open it up and check the belts.

Welcome to TFP.

What model Polaris? 280? 380? 360?

Show us pictures of how your cleaner and hose sit in the water.

Often the floats and swivel are not properly positioned as described in the Polaris manual.
