Hi there, victim of deep freeze in TX, once power was going out we turned everything off and pulled the drain plugs, but now our Polaris booster pump has a small leak. Pool company said they haven't been able to get parts for a few months and have no idea when manufacturer will resupply, so I could replace it for $750 or live with it for now. Has anyone tried getting parts off Amazon and doing own repair? I'm assuming it's a seal or O-ring or some such, possibly small crack in housing, can't actually see it because it is on the bottom. (My husband is fairly handy and has done car engine repair).
