I’ve started using tricolor in an in-line chlorinator for the first time to raise cya when I need to and then go back to liquid chlorine when it gets to where it needs to be. I have a sand filter so backwashing does indeed lower it too far after a while.
I’m wondering if the chlorine coming through the return from the chlorinator and then through my Polaris 360 could shorten its life. Is the chlorine going through the Polaris not enough to worry about or should I pull the 360 while using the chlorinator?
