PMC01 X 10 mini controller not working

Hi, I just purchased a home that has this device to turn on two pumps and two lights. When I first tried it, everything worked from 75 yards away. A couple of weeks later and the only way I can get the mini controller to work is by plugging it in to the receptacle on the panel the four switches are located. And then, only the two pumps come on. I cannot turn on the lights manually now also. Please help me. The technical support from X 10 hasn’t been much of a help. Thank you

I don’t think many folks here use X10 stuff anymore.

That is pretty old technology. My brother used to run all of his home electronics with one in the 90s and he was pretty proud of it but no one else could figure out how to use it. Time to unplug it all.

Automated system options that are recommended here. Or is it safer to not automate? It was nice to be able to turn the waterfall on from the house.

You have to tell us what equipment you have and how things are automated now.

I have a waterfall pump, spa pump, spa light, and pool light (four switches). I will be adding a Coates electric heater for the spa soon.

You have a pool pump?

How do you switch between pool and spa?

The pool, spa, and waterfall have their own individual pump.

If you are happy with your four switch remote control then look at the Sonoff WiFi switches.

@Rancho Cost-a-Lotta has used them.

Wow, that's a lotsa pumps. And a dedicated breaker box too! Get your chlorine in out of the heat - in your garage would be perfect. Keep the acid outside away from the chlorine.
