I had a leak between my pump and pump housing which I had my pool guy replace all the seals and gaskets. I also have a leak in the picture below marked with a red circle. When I spoke to the pool guy, he said since I have floor returns, they would have to get divers to go down there and plug the returns. I am new to pools and have not gone through a closing since we moved into this house back in March of this year. How do they plug the floor returns for closing a pool? Also, when replacing the leak area would you put valves right under the 90 degree piping to close it off in the future?
