Sounds like you need a bottle of Pool Owner Patience. The best kind has alcohol in it too!

After a hot day of weeding the garden nothing looked as good as the pool... so I got in ( after rinsing of course!) Floor was nice and clean by the feel of it, and figured I sweep while I was in, but first wanted to feel around a bit.... and we has some settled I forgot to correct before we filled right by the cove, and all the way around it was filled with sludge. I took the head of the vacuum and went and sucked it all out. I would easily say that there was at least a half of a 5 gallon bucket of algae "chips" that I cleaned out of both strainer baskets combined, most were light green and appeared dead, some had a bit of green left. Cleaned everything out again and we'll see if that helps!
Lershac, I'm not much of a drinking... if so I'm sure that would help a ton! LOL
I was amazed and disgusted at how much was in there... now I brought it back up to shock level and we'll wait... patiently right? LOL Good thing I work tomorrow that will take up some of the day!

I'm a terrible date! I don't drink soda either! I'll get and icewater and go for some kettle corn though! LOL You come on over and my neighbors will be glad to hook you up.

I've been under the weather for a while but wanted to come update, the party was a success, the pool was not perfectly clear, but clean and refreshing. And the best thing for the pool... was... the party! Today it's sparkling clean! Just need to go and do a little vacuuming around the edges and it's almost crystal clear!
