I have this spacing above my pool tile and under the coping. Some of the tiles around there are loose. Most of the pool is fine, but there are four sections (about 6"-24" each) where it is separated like this. I really knew nothing about pools a couple of months ago, but I've been trying to educate myself. What should I do to repair this? I'm assuming I need to fill in that space. Can I just use sanded grout or an epoxy grout? I'm very handy and usually diy fix just about everything. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to TFP.

You have cantilevered coping and that gap is your expansion joint. It has done its purpose and let the deck and pool move independently without anything major cracking. If you fill it then it needs to be with a flexible mastic. I would leave it as is since anything you put in will not match and look worse then a gap.

I obviously need to fix the loose tile. I looked up how to attach and grout the tile in the pool. If I just do that, you think it's fine to leave the gap? It doesn't cause any harm with water going in that joint when splashed? Thank you again for your help.
