Please help a n00b identify some holes

But the sump pump I bought is designed to rest on the floor. The pipe is only 1.5" wide...the pump is probably a good 9" in diameter. Maybe there is some manual pump I can find on the interwebs. Also, it is NOT risky to drain a pool as long as the hydrostatic valve next to the main drain is removed or open, right?

Just because the hydrostat is open or removed does not mean that the pool can't float.

If the water is pumped out faster than the hydrostat can keep up, you could get excessive ground water.

Also, the hydrostat can get clogged.

Well, can some expert please tell me how to pump the ground water out of the 1.5" access pipe, and also what rate to use when pumping the pool water out? I have not found any info on the web that explains how to suck water from a 1.5" pipe. All of the well access pipes I've read about are around 12".
