Am getting g pool plastered tomorrow and it is going to be cold. PB is looking to use Plaster Fast-Set by Fritz. It doesn’t contain Calcium Chloride which I know has problems.

Anybody have experience with Plaster Fast-Set? (See picture)

They are starting at 7 am tomorrow so am looking for some quick feedback.

thanks

Do you have reason to mistrust your plasterer? If so, you should halt the job and sort it out with him and/or your PB.

It sounds to me like he knows exactly what he is doing but it is your money and your decision........not folks on the internet who may or may not know your local conditions

I think that it's calcium formate, but I don't know anything about how it is used in plaster.

I don't think that it's a common product.

So, most people are not going to know about it.

Sorry about being late on this.
The plasterer is using a product that is better and safer than using calcium chloride.
Everything should be just fine as along as the temperature today isn't below freezing temperatures.
