Hi out there! My pool uses a Goldline (seems to be Hayward now) Pro Logic model PL-P-4 with main control board P/N G1-011049D-1T. Need to replace the main transformer, which is located next to the board, inside the upper part of the cabinet. The label with part number/manufacturer is gone. Where can I find part number, supplier for this transformer? Thanks.

The big transformer. They rarely go bad. Why do you think that it's bad?

The transformer has two sets of windings. The blue and white wires go to one set and the violet and gray wires go to the other set.

If you turn off all power and check the resistance of the windings, you can see if the transformer is good.

Insert probes and measure resistance between the Blue & White wires and the Violet & Gray wires.

The readings should be 2.0- 2.9 Ohms.

If the readings of either of the two measurements are not 2.0 – 2.9 Ohms, the transformer is faulty and should be replaced (Part number GLX-XFMR).
