Hi, I have a small pinhole leak in the filter barrel (see attached pic). Is this repairable or should it be replaced since it's under pressure? I have seen suggestions both ways. We just moved in so not sure how long the leak has been there. Thanks!

Official answer is replace it, it will most likely crack and get worse. Have to see how much a base cost vs whole filter.
Unofficial answer is you would need to look inside and see how bad it is.
It’s under pressure so don’t risk it too much. Murphy’s law says it will crack when your 3000 miles away on vacation
