Phospates

We seem to always have high phospates in our pools and Hot tubs at two RV resorts. We are spending hundreds on No Phos. We test with Leslies and about to order my own TP100 test kit.
Should we be concerned with Leslie's water tests showing phospates over 1,000. Is there something else we can buy for less than $100 a gallon? New to this. Thanks

Can you use TFP methods in commercial pools? I thought they had to run at lower FC levels than what TFP specify
Commercial pools can have different criteria to follow, so it's a good idea to check with the local municipalities. But the overall concept of proper owner-user water testing and need to control phosphates remains the same. For those members who choose to manage phosphates, we recommend passing on the watered-down products found at the local pool store and get the stronger PR products noted in the article Marty provided above. As we always say, local pool store testing is marginal at best. Always test your own water with a TF-Series or Taylor K-2006C test kit.
