1st year pool owner.....Proud Taylor 2006c user. The entire summer, for whatever reason, my pool loved a pH of 7.8. If I add muriatic acid, and get it to 7.5, in a day or two it would be 7.8 again. I keep CYA at 30. I use liquid chlorine only on a daily basis. I keep chlorine between 4 and 7. Alkalinity was always between 80-100. I had no issues with 7.8.....but just curious why i couldn't keep it at a nice 7.5.
