I used muriatic acid to lower my TA and now my pH is reading below 7.0 it is yellow! How do I know hoe much borax to use if I dont know the actual pH reading?
Test results:
CYA 30
FC 4
CC 0
TA 110

I followed the test kitsch instructions and it took 20 drops of R-006 to get it to 7.6 color

I followed the test kit instructions and it took 20 drops of R-006 to get it to 7.6 color but when I go to the table that tells me how much soda ash to use it only goes up to 10 drops and I'm using borax instead of soda ash

I would assume you’re at 7.0, add enough borax to bring it up to 7.6, circulate the water for 1/2 hour and retest. Repeat if you’re still less than 7.6

That's just it I can't enter a current result for my ph if I dont know what it is as its reading below the 7.0 color it is very yellow!! I followed the Taylor book instructions for lowering my TA as it was pushing 200! I added about 2- 2.5qts of MA

My pH kept climbing to above 8.0 and I figured it was due to my TA being high so I needed to lower my TA and then bring my pH back up but I didnt realize it would lower my pH that much :(

Me personally....I wouldn’t add any borax for the purpose of getting your PH back up. It’ll come back up on its own.

Now, if you are adding borax for the purpose of adding borax, I would add the borax and then add the acid.

Maybe im confused,

Instead, use the PoolMath. While you may not know your true (low) pH, by using the PoolMath tool you can enter a simple NOW & TARGET value. For example, use a NOW value of 6.8 and a target value of 7.2. PoolMath will tell you what and how much product to add. That way you won't go too high. After running the pump for about an hour, test again and repeat if necessary.

The PoolMath tool is your friend. :)
