Given your wife’s report of the “pink” slime … I’d definitely recommend a SLAM. Maybe increase the water level an inch or two to cover all the tiles then SLAM away and brush well. Or else …

I take my water to two different pool stores, about every other month to compare.
You have a high quality test kit. Pool store testing just adds confusion and misinformation. Do you have a SpeedStir or other type of stirring device?

FC-2.5,CYA -60
You FC is too low for your CYA. For a CYA of 60, your target FC is 4-9. Error towards the higher side of the target range.

Your signature indicates an IntelliChem. How is it configured and how much MA does it dose? Are you adding any other acidic chemicals?

shock the pool every other week (based on usage) with 73% cal-hypo.
Maintain your FC in the target range and you'll never have to routinely shock your pool.

All the grout lines do indeed have a light pink tint. She says there are a few nickel size pink dots in the corners as well.
You need to SLAM. After completing it, maintain your FC in the higher part of the target range.
