Give it plenty of time to circulate and brush well and then recheck the chemistry tomorrow.
You can try aeration now to get your pH up, it shouldn't take much to get it back in to range. The TA is 80 this morning (I accidentally put in 25 lbs of baking soda) and the pH is. 6.8. Should I do anything else or leave it alone?
At a pH of 6.8, the percentage of CO2 is 26.189%, which is a lot of CO2 and aeration will be effective. The TA is 80 this morning (I accidentally put in 25 lbs of baking soda) and the pH is. 6.8. Should I do anything else or leave it alone?
Thank you so much!At a pH of 6.8, the percentage of CO2 is 26.189%, which is a lot of CO2 and aeration will be effective.

The key thing is that the pH is out of the danger zone and it should go above 7.0 today as the CO2 offgasses.
With no aeration, the pH will probably go to about 7.1 to 7.2.
With aeration, the pH will probably go to about 7.3 or 7.4.
Check the CSI using PoolMath to make sure that it is in range.
