Last summer my pool stayed around 7.5- 7.6 on the PH. It rose to 7.8 over the winter and I left it to keep my CSI in check. Now that its warm in Texas, I've been adding a fair amount of acid trying to keep my PH down. After a couple of days it wanders back up to 7.8 from 7.5. Today's test results, Ca- 300 TA- 60 PH- 7.8 TC- 4 CC- 0 CYA 35-40 water temp 75. So my question is, how low can I let my TA get so my PH will quit rising? Last year my TA was 60 and rarely rose unless we had a heavy rain.
