Ph keeps going up

Hi,
I’m wondering why my ph keeps going up to 8.0. I’ll get it down to 7.6 and then in a day or two it’s back up to 8.0. I’m only using liquid chlorine everyday, is that raising my ph. There’s been no rain

What is your TA? Are you adding fill water?

TA is 80. I did just have to add some water. Could that have raised the ph? Even still, this has been an ongoing thing even when I haven’t added water

Let the TA come down to 60 or 70. If your fill water has elevated TA, you will have to add acid when you add fill water.
